Cosmic Beads

You might remember that I have been playing around with a new style of beads: http://floraeme.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/latest-polymer-playing.html

Well I now have 2 sets of these beads for sale in my shops.

Firstly this fresh green set of 8 with golden divets:

And then this set of 14 beige crater beads with copper divets.

I'm still perfecting the technique so I've priced these a little lower - get them whilst you can :)

Simply British

It's so quintessentially British to drink tea and I certainly do. There's nothing like sitting down on a Saturday morning to enjoy your first cup of tea of the day.

I also like to make quaint tea related polymer clay items such as these simple teapot charms.

The first set is this imitation brown ceramic set of 6 beads. For sale now in my Folksy shop.

I also made this antiqued set of 9. For sale now in my Folksy shop.

If you don't fancy 9 charms, there is a set of 6 antique look beads available

Look what I found!

I found a picture of a beaded elf I made for Christmas 2012. Isn't he lovely? I had made beaded baubles for girl relatives and was looking for something a bit more masculine and making a beaded elf and popping him on a bauble was a great solution :)

New year, more claying

Did you make any resolutions this New Year? I made some. I wasn't nearly as good at claying, making and blogging last year as I had hoped to be and I intend to do that this year.

So here's my first post. It's a bit of a cheat really as I'm just posting a pic of these earrings but I'm so pleased with them that I think they deserve their own post.

These are Christi Friesen style lilies (the recipe is in her Flourish book) wire wrapped and agate and unakite beads added. Simply lovely ;)
